USATF Coaching Programs Manager
The sports science curriculum is required of all first-time students to Level 2 (training theory, physiology, sports psychology, and biomechanics). Students have access to the online modules as soon as they have paid tuition to the Level 2 School. Course syllabus and the grading protocol is posted in the online classroom. This online learning environment is self-paced, however early access to the online modules is encouraged as students must complete all four modules, quizzes and discussion posts with satisfactory score by midnight, June 28, 2019. Students whom do not pass the sports sciences are still eligible to attend the event-specific portion but will not be awarded Level 2 certification, regardless of passing the event exam, and must re-enroll in the sports sciences the next time it is offered and redo all subjects (fee applies).
Event Specific Evaluation
Each event group will be evaluated on three specific tasks:
There is a one-time retest after the school completion and within 30 days of completion of the school for a student who fails to meet the 80% passing grade.
Any student requesting ADA accommodations must make that request at the time of completing the application and support the request with the appropriate documentation sent to the Coaching Programs Manager firstname.lastname@example.org. Said application must be completed no later than six (6) weeks prior to the school opening in order to ensure the availability of any such reasonable accommodations or other required assistance during the Level 2 coaching school.
